It's on!

The 2010 Terratrike Car Free Challenge that is. Which means that this is the third year of this blog as I started it for the 2007 Car free Challenge. The point of this is to not use the car for a month. I know I won't be completely pure (its really hard to transport teenagers on a one person trike and the tandem isn't complete yet).
Here's the trike after I returned from the store with a week's worth of of groceries.

Merrill, thanks again for reminding me about this year's challenge. My friend Jim [from Tunxis] decided to join in this year. Go Jim!

Love your pictures! Isn't it fun to be noticed by so many people?

Congratulations Jim for winning the car free challenge. It's quite cool that someone from CT won.

Yesturday, we met who itale it was Jim. At the ct folk festival he and three others came on the recumbent bicycles, well one was a velamobile... Anyway he told me about getting, "thee 100% off discount" later he explained the whole thing and he told me about the car free challenge. I loved riding around the park, I don't know why, it was just fun. Anyway next year I will try it. I am only 13 (now and will be 14 then). I will have no use for a car anyway being I for even have a license. I will ride my bike to peoples house, school (if I have school during it) and anywhere else I can. I know this is a lot of writing and I am kinda just rambling now. The point is I want the terra trike and will try to win it. If there are any typos sorry in advance I am writing this on my iPod.

Yesturday we met who I believe is Jim, we were at a ct folk festival. He and two others rode there on their recumbent bicycles, well one was a velamobile. Really liked riding the terra trike he had (he let us all try it) he told me about how he got the, "100% off discount," meaning he won it with the car free challenge. Next year I will be trying to win the same trike that he did. I am currently 13 and will be 14 by the time that the next challenge comes around. I can't drive a car yet, so I won't have the temptation to drive one. Instead of having someone drive me somewhere I'll ride my bike there, friends, school (if during then) etc. Hope I win!
