Details of the Roll Over America begin to gel. It looks like it will be the largest gathering of velomobiles the USA has ever seen. The route is beginning to come together and day three looks pretty intense about 150 miles and over 6,000 feet of elevation gain. More motivation to keep training. I did 60 miles yesterday.

I've done 5 cross country rides between 2000 and 4,500 miles and the last 4 were on recumbents. To say that for most riders 3,000 miles in 30 days is ambitious is a really big understatement. I'm not sure I could do this ride on my 30 pound Lightning P-38 much less push another wheel and 3 times the weight. Two thousand miles in 30 days is still a challenge and makes a lot more sense for someone looking for a fun experience.

I climb Bridges with a cargo bike with 200lb in it. If you have Patience and the right gearing there's nothing that can't be climbed!
